Ok, that covers the Xporter Series. As for the manufacturer, Patriot’s full name is actually Patriot Memory and is a trademark of PDP Systems. Founded in 1985, it has established itself as a builder of memory modules and flash memory products. Patriot has distribution channels all over the world but its headquarters are in Fremont, California.
As always, feel free to leave a comment especially if you have any experience with these flash drives.

I had purchased a USB memory stick, Patriot XT 32G.
Lost the cap.
Do you sell cap only ?
Where can I get one ?
Thank you

Hi Walter,
I’m sorry that you lost your cap. You can find caps on ebay that are a generic fit for any USB connector. –> Flash Drive Caps
If this would look good on your Patriot flash drive is another question. If an actual replacement cap is important to you, you could try contacting the customer service on the Patriot website. Maybe they will send you one, especially in case of a still valid warranty.
Alternatively for the future, you could purchase Flash Drives with a retractable USB Connector.

I like the patriot one, it looks sweet and 32GB is just the right size, I can’t believe how much cheaper these are getting recently.

Are the Patriots faster than the Corsair Voyagers. I have the 8G Voyager and it has really slowed down over time.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:41 am
c3mdigital,
if you have the regular Voyager than the new Xporter Rage as well as the Xporter Magnum should be faster. I guess some flash drives can become slower after some time due to wear and tear or because the host computer has become cluttered up.
