Attaché
PNY flash drives are marketed under the Attaché brand. Because just like human attachés represent many different cultures and countries, so does the PNY Attaché come in all styles and colors. The variety is so vast that they’re bound to grow attached to the owner (quite literally) as well as to the closest data embassy near you.

Fantastic collection!
I wonder why i could not found this site before. I can guess that PNY 4GB and PNY Attache Premium USB 2.0 1GB Drive will be the best out of good list. Thanks for sharing your list here.

So I’d want to say that the 128Gb flash drives can be really replaced by the analog device as HDD mainly because of their speed of transferring of the files.

Hello Valencia, did you check out my comparison Flash Drives vs Hard Drives?
January 23rd, 2010 at 9:00 pm
I own a few of these Attache memory sticks and must say they work quite well. The one problem I had, and this was with the PNY Secure Attache, was the glue that kept the memory stick attached to the outer plastic shell. Mine had the glue break and the memory stick would slide in and out of the shell, making it hard to plug in at times. This only happened with one of my many cards though so it’s really not a huge deal.

I love the accessories. The pen drives looks so cool and elegant both at the same time. Thanks a bunch for them. Cheers

With the features of flash drives improving it will surely happen that HDDs will change too for them to ride on the quickness of pen drives.

I like the color combination’s on these flash drives. Most of the time they just look to plain for my taste. Who says you can’t b stylish and practical at the same time?
March 2nd, 2010 at 6:37 pm
Those designs are pretty unique. Very different from the standard design of storage drives. I’m sure they are just as functional though.

Wow, the Susan G. Komen USB stick looks very girly. I like it though! I’m wondering: which one of these is the most popular sales-wise?
April 24th, 2010 at 9:13 pm
I have no idea, Angela!

These are really nice. I like the Komen one for the girls. Is it supporting breast cancer? Thought I saw the logo. These are quite smart but I admit I prefer the novelty ones.
May 15th, 2010 at 8:49 pm
Stacie, yes it supports a breast cancer cure foundation (if it was “supporting breast cancer” I doubt PNY would be still in business
). Susan Komen was a woman who died of breast cancer at the age of 36 and her parents founded the foundation after her name. You can find out more if you follow the wikipedia-link under the Susan G. Komen Attache.

I think that with the features of flash drives improving it will for sure happen that HDD will change too for them to ride on the quickness of pen drives. We shall see.

I’ve gone through 2 months of frustration, misery and anger because of one of your memory sticks. I bought a new HP computer. I used two fo your 4 GB sticks to transfer my files. I left them plugged into the newcomputer.
The opening screen took 4 minutes to move on to the Windows screen. After 6 weeks of fighting with HP, they finally allowed me to send it in. I was without a computer for over a week. They called, said there was nothing wrong and sent it back.
I set it up and it did the same thing. By a lot of trying and deducing, I found out that 1 of the sticks causes the long delay on the opening screen even after the files have been transferred to the hard drive. I’m not at allo happy with Attache.
Do you have any suggestions other than to buy a different brand of stick in the future? Do you suggest I tell HP so they can have their purchasers stay away from Attache sticks in the future?

Paul,
sorry to hear about your troubles. It sounds to me like the problem was with your computer/OS/USB port and not with the stick. What windows version are you using? Some of the older sticks may not be compatible with Windows 7 and likewise, newer sticks may not be working well with old OS like Windows 98. Have you tried the PNY Attache on a non-HP computer? If seems safe to assume that HP flash drives would work better for you.
On another note: They are not my flash drives. Please understand that. I only give an overview of all the different brands on my site and where you can buy them.

What’s up with all these pink colors and weird designs? I use HP flash drives myself but I never saw anything like that sold…
November 17th, 2010 at 4:44 pm
The cap for my 8GB flash drive has been lost and we can’t find it anywhere. It’s like the ones at the top of this page that is black, but has the blue inset where the cap comes off, to represent it being 8GB capacity. Can I get a replacement cap somehow? Also, how much are the 32 GB green on black ones?
November 20th, 2010 at 2:22 am
Allen,
I’m sorry to hear about your cap loss. You may want to check out replacement caps on eBay. Or you may be able to directly order a replacement from PNY support. Its worth a try.
As for pricing on the green & black PNY Attache check out the 32GB Attache eBay listings. Looks like it retails between $90 and $140. Take your pick.

i have a lot of files on my attache, and now i suddenly cannot change any of them. it keeps telliing me that it js write protected. how do i change this? i have tried the stick in 4 different computers with different os’s. HELLLP
January 20th, 2011 at 3:39 pm
Hello Tom,
usually the write-protection is enabled by a manual switch at the back of a flash drive. Just switch it off. However, if the Attache has an internal write protection then the following links should help you to fix the problem:
write protection removal
How to Remove Write Protection on a Attache USB PNY USB Drive
Apparently this can be caused when you remove the drive before it says “you can now safely remove your device”.

My daughter will fall for those pink sticks. It’s everything pink and purple for her these days. I hope it’s just a phase because I think I’m beginning to like these colors now, too.
Not goof at all!
